My parents told me if I worked for a Bank or the Government I would have a job for life. I was outsourced twice. Once by a Bank and once by the Government. Times have changed.
Let’s get to the Holy Grail.
  1. 1. Increase sales: By using Internet to market your company you can increase sales. It is not expensive if you use me or do it yourself. Watch my videos and signup for my newsletter and you will see how. My Holy Grail package is:
  1. a. I design a Custom WordPress website while you watch from your computer in an hour for $125.
  1. b. I host your website for $8.95 per month.
  1. c. I train you how to update your site yourself. Imagine that. I use GoToMeeting right from your computer. Then I give you access to a video of that training for future reference. I do this training in half hour segments at $30 per segment. Usually after 2 segments you are updating your own site. Normally after 4 segments you may not be a pro but you feel like a pro.
  1. During the training we integrate SEO, Social Media and Newsletter / contact management. All Free.
2. Lower your costs: By using SEO and SEM you will get more bang for your buck then spending the same amount of money on regular advertising. Of course that depends on the type of business you have.
And I want to show you how to use FREE and Low Cost Cloud Services to save you money too. Computers are an anchor on your business. Every time you buy one you have the cost of the hardware, the cost of the software, the cost to set it up, the cost to protect it (insurance, virus), the cost to integrate it, the cost to repair it… When I was with the Bank we had large centralized mainframes with dump terminals at the branches and offices. It was a much cheaper model then the “distributed computing” model that is PC’s. If you have everything on the net and access it through a phone or tablet you are using “centralized computing” which is much cheaper. Basically, anything with a browser will work.
3. Save you time. But if all your computer programs talk to each other that will save you TIME. If you don’t have to manage hardware and software as well as the data you have to put in to them. That will save you time also. Since I am a programmer, most of what I do is automate office tasks and integrate software (make them talk to each other).
But I am also a business owner. Right off the bat I am going to show you how I saved $500 when Incorporating my business. You can too.
This video is a perfect example of how I am marketing my business for FREE, sort of. If you don’t count the cost of the camera. Which came with editing software so I did not need to buy that. But http://www.youtube.com/ is FREE. And you may have found me there.
This is not my first rodeo. This is not my first business. But www.BusinessEasySoftware.com is new and so the results will be an accurate portrayal of what you can do too.
This is an Internet Reality TV show for business. This is not even the first time I have done this. I was part of www.socialprintexperiment.com/. We started a print shop in February 2010 and used SEO (Search Engine Optimization) or SEM (Search Engine Marketing) including Local SEO / SEM to drive traffic to it. My partners on that site used it to review and sell print equipment. I was very interested in how good Social Media Marketing worked. You get the benefit of that year’s worth of work.
So let’s get back to the S Corp. I chose an S Corp to reduce the taxes I pay. I can write off legitimate business expenses (that sometimes replace personal expenses) making that money tax free. So the only income I transfer to my personal taxes is real income that the business can’t write off. Then I reduce it again on my personal taxes taking legitimate write offs again.
The other main reason is to reduce my personal liability. Including debt, injury and other sorts of exposure you have when you are in business. Lesson number 1: I will never personally guarantee a loan for my business. It can be done. Of course lenders want you to put up your personal assets. I know businesses that got millions of dollars in loans and refused to put their personal guarantee on the debt. It is harder but can be done.
I dissolved by California Corp by following the instructions the state website. Then I needed to create my Arizona S Corp. I was going to try one of the online legal self help sites. So I tried it and the total was over $600.00. I went to my banker to see what I needed to open a business account and he said he would help me with the paperwork. So I decided to see if I could do it myself.
I went to the Arizona Corporation Commissions website. Downloaded the forms and filled them out. Took them to my banker and they overnighted them for me while we setup the bank accounts. Total costs $65.00. I paid extra to the State to expedite the order but you don’t have to. Then I filed for a DBA and that cost $10.00. So the total cost was $75.00. Not $600.00 which is what my lawyer charged me in 2001 in California. I saved over $500.00.
You need to talk to an attorney and an accountant to determine what is right for you.

  • Sole Proprietorship.
  • Partnership.
  • LLC
  • S Corp or C Corp…
And you have to know how to fill out the paperwork. You can at least look to see if you know you can do it yourself.
Then I went to the IRS website (IRS.GOV) and filed for an “EIN” which I got immediately over the Internet. So I could use it with my bank account. That was FREE.
So there you go. This is an example of why you should watch my videos. I could have just saved you $500.00.
